Terms of Service & Legal Notice

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Copper Fix, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.

1. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland (QLD), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Living Finish Characteristics & Brand Clarification

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, center-to-center measurements, and pricing. Unlacquered Living Finish Notice: Solid raw copper products feature an unlacquered, living finish that reacts organically to oxygen, humidity, hand touch, and environmental factors. Color variations, deepening amber tones, and subtle natural oxidation spots are the inherent hallmark of pure copper and are not considered manufacturing defects. Independent Brand Notice: Copper Fix is an independent manufacturer and retailer of solid copper architectural hardware. Copper Fix is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Buster + Punch, Armac Martin, Lo & Co, Hepburn Hardware, or Tradco. Any comparative references are made strictly for center-to-center hole standardizations, screw thread compatibility, and consumer guidance. Copper Fix reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Chemical Cleaning, Thread Torque & Maintenance Advisory

CHEMICAL CLEANING WARNING: Never use harsh chemical abrasives, hydrochloric acid, bleach, citrus-based degreasers, or abrasive scouring pads on solid copper hardware. Abrasive cleaners strip natural patina and scratch pure metal surfaces; clean with mild soapy water and a soft microfiber cloth, or apply natural beeswax to retard tarnishing. Thread Torque Notice: Rear brass threaded bosses are machined to standard metric M4 tolerances. Do not overtighten mounting screws with high-torque power drills into timber drawers, as this can strip cabinet threads or pull mounting studs. Copper Fix is not liable for stripped threads caused by power tools, timber cabinet surface indentations from overtightening, or surface discoloration caused by harsh commercial chemical cleaning agents.
